Welcome to the first CSA of the spring season! We are so happy to be back and thankful for our new and returning customers. Spring is most definitely here; I can smell it’s fragrant blooms, the birds and bugs are back, and the weeds are coming on strong. We have been busy the last couple of months and it’s paying off in vegetable abundance. There are fourteen items this week including STRAWBERRIES, lots of kale, beautiful long stemmed rainbow chard, mustard greens, kohlrabi, and much more! Spring is my favorite time of year because of all the different colors and tastes it brings. There’s nothing like a beautiful, healthy meal to cure what ails you. I hope you all enjoy this week’s offerings.
Pickups are now on WEDNESDAYS at several locations, including:
1. The Athens Farmers Market from 4-7
2. Lindsey’s Culinary Market on Prince Avenue from 4-6
3. New this year for our customers in Oglethorpe County, the pickup spot is at Oglethorpe Fresh in downtown Lexington at 111 South Platt Street from 4-6
